RICCARDO TISCI: It’s hard to find a Mariacarla in the men’s world because she’s so strong and so unique. But I’ve got a lot of men around me and I really like the way they put clothes together, including people on my design team. I really like the way Matthew Barney dresses, and then, of course, Antony Hegarty is really inspiring for me.

Jared we’ve dressed many times. We are very close and I think he’s amazing. He’s the king of the moment of style. He decides what to wear and he’s got such a fashion sensibility. I’m inspired by him. I think he’s a great guy.

I know it's very common in HW for people to be linked to someone of a higher stature purely for exposure & Jared probably doesn't care at all that her PR team is linking them as much as they possibly can, as irritating as it is. I still think if it wasn't for him, she wouldn't be in the VS show. By being linked to him it brings her attention & not only her followers but his too. Those followers, whether they love her or more likely hate her, will be watching the show & that's all VS cares about.

Why is he ok with letting her team continually link them together when he himself is anything but eager to do that? That´s what I don´t get.

I honestly think he just doesn’t care.. He has so many major things on his plate that are far more important than her that I don’t even think she’s really on his radar. My personal opinion is that she’s being phased out the same way as AK was… He had a hand in helping AK get started as a photographer, how else is a model that barely speaks English with no education or background as a photographer get a gig with Brandy Melville? After that we saw her less and less…

I see maybe the same thing happening with VK and her getting this possible career boost doing the VS show. That along with the fact they’ve hardly seen each other in months despite having a lot of opportunities (we all know she would have let us know if they were together 😏) and after more than a year being around each other, they look more uncomfortable together than ever…well he looks uncomfortable, she likes putting on a show. Anyway, VK being cast wasn’t just strange to us but almost any blog that follows and posts about the VS casting/models were completely shocked too. Her look and body are nothing like any of the other girls chosen to walk. I don’t think he pulled any strings to get her a spot but he helped by giving her lots of exposure by being linked to him. That’s more than any model could dream of especially since SM presence is something designers look for when casting.
